Michael started out as a Junior Engineer / drafter with The Coastal Group, where he would complete field measurements and specifications of manufacturing equipment and construct as-builts in CAD format, as well as consult on small engineering and construction projects. After a year of learning the process side of food and beverage manufacturing, Michael became a Project Engineer with The Coastal Group, where he now works managing multiple engineering and construction projects in tandem. Michael is involved on the front end of projects working with municipalities to obtain commercial building permits, coordinating subcontractors, and aiding in the initial design. From there, he works with a Project Manager to maintain subcontractor efficiency as well as accuracy to the original plan. Michael excels in process layout design, project timeline coordination, and permitting. He strives for maximum success for his clients and their businesses, and it is his goal to see the food and beverage industry find a balance of profitability and environmental sustainability.
Michael enjoys camping and listening to music, has a passion for volunteering his time with animals, and likes to support local artists.
